Why we started

Seed to soul, and not much in between

Most of what gets sold as healthy food has a label you need a chemistry degree to read. We wanted the opposite: a short list of things you could grow, gather or press, put together properly, and sold by someone whose name you know.

So everything here is made by hand, in small batches, in a home kitchen in Florida. Nothing sits in a warehouse. What's listed is what's in it.

Small batches mean we sometimes sell out, and that we bake to what's ordered rather than what's forecast. It also means we can only ship within Florida, which we're fine with — a bar that reaches you in two days is better than one that's travelled a fortnight.

More is coming as the kitchen grows. For now, two things, done properly.

How ordering works

Ordered Monday, posted Friday

One bake a week, so everything arrives fresh rather than sitting in stock.

Step one

You order

Orders placed by Wednesday night go into that week's bake. Anything later joins the next one.

Step two

We bake Friday

Everything is made and packed that morning, with the bake date stamped on the box.

Step three

It goes out same day

Posted within Florida, or collected locally if you'd rather. You'll get a note either way.

The batch list

Know when the next bake opens

One short note a week: what's being made, what's left, and when ordering closes. Nothing else, and you can leave any time.

We use your address for the weekly batch note and nothing else.

Questions

Worth knowing before you order

Where is this made?

In a home kitchen in Florida, under the state's cottage food law. That means the kitchen isn't state-inspected, which is why the disclaimer appears on every label and package. It also means we can only sell directly to you — never wholesale — and only ship within Florida.

Why only Florida?

Cottage food operations can post to customers inside the state. Shipping across state lines falls under federal rules and a different kind of licence, which we don't hold yet.

Do I need to refrigerate anything?

No. Everything here is shelf-stable by design — store it cool and dry and it keeps. Nothing we sell needs a fridge to stay safe.

Can you make something without nuts?

Ask and we'll tell you honestly whether we can. Everything is packed in one kitchen that handles tree nuts, peanuts, sesame and wheat, so we can't promise a batch free of traces.
